This is the third wave link. I've encountered all three at different times.

The first works great - I can set different passwords for 2.4Hz and 5.4Hz, and use it as a hotspot

The second option works great, but I have to use a complex password. This causes a lot of problems because I have several Alexa devices that already have simple passwords set up, so I rely on the former. I use it as an AP

Third, the same thing: 2.4 and 5.4 have a password, and the password must be complex. So, if I don't want to change the password, I have to rely on the first WAVLink. It would be difficult for me to replace them all (light bulbs, smart switches, etc.). As you know, all Alexa devices need to operate at 2.4Hz to configure.

I got this and wanted to try Wisp. I tested it and it works great, it creates additional IP addresses for the device. Instead of 192.168.1.xxx you'll see 192.168.10.xxx, which is an acceptable address when no devices are interacting with each other. He also presented a list of clients in a third list. This way I know which devices are connected to my Wavlink.

If I could break down the 2.4Hz code I would give it 5 stars. The range is great now, previously I was in a corner room and couldn't get a good signal. After placing the device in the corner room, it connected and the speed was very good.

How long is it? I don't know yet. All I know is that the first two Wavlinks I used in AP mode were constantly flashing red, and when I used them in Wisp mode they were solid blue. I don't know why the AP mode is red and the LAN/Bridge connection is showing on the console, but it works fine.

Anyway, this setup is great and easy to set up so far. WISP is as good as the repeater. (By the way, this pattern is a bit misleading. There is no repeating pattern!) You may end up using the Wisp pattern
