This is my second portable monitor and the best portable monitor ever. While I might use it for gaming, I intend to use it for work, whether that's in my office or at home. It connects to your work laptop and uses a USB-C cable to output video (the monitor comes with a USB-C cable, charger, and micro HDMI cable, all included in the box).
High refresh rates and low latency are nothing to sneeze at. All my videos are bright and colorful, have very low input lag and play very smoothly. The resolution (QHD+ (1600p, 16:10)) is high enough for me to work efficiently. The colors are amazing (rated at 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy) and the brightness is reasonably bright (I'd rather not use it outdoors where everything is fine, but for indoor use it's terrible, I don't know if it is) (there is Lice.) This completely destroyed my previous 1080p monitor, which I replaced with a new 18″ monitor.
The form factor of this monitor is excellent. Yes, it's bigger than my old phone 15.6, but that's also because it has a bigger screen, but it's not so big that you can't hold it. The bezel is neither large nor noticeable, and the accompanying stand is reminiscent of an IPAD with a foldable triangular case. It's sturdy and I had no issues with the stand holding the screen in place.
It has multiple USB-C ports and a mini HDMI port. As I mentioned earlier, it comes with two USB-C cables and a power adapter. To do this, you need to use one of the USB-C cables to connect it to a small power outlet. If your laptop has enough USB C, you can simply plug in USB C to power the laptop and re-establish the data connection (this is the case with Lenovo business laptops).
At $285, this monitor is a bargain because it provides a great screen. Resolution, brightness, color and frequency. I compared this monitor to 10-15 other competing monitors before purchasing and knew this monitor would be perfect for my needs. If you are looking for a screen that meets all your needs, you have come to the right place. For the price, you'll be hard-pressed to find another monitor with all these specs. Yes, you can definitely find other cheaper monitors, but you will have to sacrifice some specifications and this is the best price for you.
Looking back, I wish I had bought the 18-inch Uperfect 2K monitor instead of the other 15.6-inch 1080p 60Hz monitor. I needed more space and this 18-inch monitor worked for me. He gave me exactly that.
If you are looking for a second or third monitor to add to your setup, I would definitely recommend it. It's hard to find a better monitor with this specific feature at this size and price range.
