I use this bridge to communicate from my house to the barn (75 feet away) and all the signal strength LEDs are on. Internal installation is done through the glass windows of the room. Hangar Hill is the farthest point. Setup is not the easiest as the instructions do not cover changing subnets. I recommend starting with the default settings. Side A is 192.168.255.10x (6 in my case) and Side B is 192.168.255.206. If you use the default settings, it should work out of the box. Then go to Wi-Fi settings, change the A-SSID as you want, change the password as you want, then change the B-SSID as you want and change the password as you want for all content. Also, in B, change the WiFi bridge settings to match the SSID and password. Then test your connection again and a connection should be established between all master/slave lights. Next, change your WiFi settings from 192.168.255.[1/2].0.x to the local subnet as a static IP address. In my case it was 10.10.10.x 255.255.255 10.10.10.1 DNS 10.10.10.20. After saving these settings, you need to remove the static IP address from your laptop and return it to automatic mode. After rebooting, these devices must be reconnected. The last thing I want to change is my hosting administrator password. Install, view and smile :-)
