I recently purchased this bad boy during a flash sale. I'm so glad I bought it a week ago because it looks like it's on sale again! It arrived with no issues or dead pixels, and Amazon did a great job shipping this product!
But for gaming/productivity, the screen is just too tall (if not the best size) – and the matte finish is poor.

It's great for HDR, but yes, this display will ruin your retina if you're gaming in a dark room. So be prepared! Small highlights like explosions or small lights catch your attention and can draw you into the game more.

Great for work, you can set the window size to 100% and open as many windows as you want (I use Power Toys to adjust the window size to my liking).
-It does not burn
Since it's not OLED, you don't have to worry about screensavers, burnt-out desktop backgrounds, or working for hours.
-32 inches

I use a monitor stand (VESA 100x100), but the included stand fits perfectly on my desk
Its direct competitor would be the 42-inch C2 OLED, but it's much larger and its biggest drawback for me is that it's not bright enough for my gaming and work needs, and because of its size, pixel density suffers. The effect is very large. The ideal pixel density for this 32-inch display is about 140 ppi, while the ideal pixel density for the 42-inch C2 is about 106 ppi.

A little faster than the 42-inch C2, but since the C2 has a faster response time it doesn't matter if you consider 144Hz as the flagship spec, which gives me some drawbacks.

Reaction time-
The shades used to test the Blur Busters weren't the sharpest in the sport. Although there weren't any crazy artifacts during testing, they weren't as noticeable during motion as I remember with the C2 OLED. It's a compromise that has to be made. For me this is the only downside. As I write this, I looked at the test results, and while they're not exactly clear, they're not great either. It is acceptable. I hope it's as sharp as the C2, and I'm looking forward to one screen to rule them all. Unfortunately, we are not there yet, but hopefully soon.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying being away from this screen. To me, this is the best 4K HDR non-OLED display on the market right now. This little LED technology is pretty cool. Yes, I also forgot to mention other minor annoyances, like the somewhat strange dimming of the mouse cursor on dark backgrounds, which is still a great way to avoid obvious overshooting – for me, this minor annoyance always outweighs the convenience of not being there to do it. Worry about screen burn-in and brightness and see how it actually works (I see you C2)
Will I sell it soon? Good question. I like the AW3423DWF. It's now 9:9pm, which is shocking. I just wanted to try 4K 16:9. I have to say, I'm not quite sure yet. I might actually go back to this monitor just because I like this aspect ratio. Or I could stick with it and wait for the 32-inch, 240Hz OLED screen to come out. very funny
