Review CRUA 27 Inch Full HD 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor

CRUA 27-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor, Full HD (1920 x 1080), VA 1800R Panel, 240Hz Refresh Rate, Blue Light Filter for Gaming & Office (DP, HDMI), VESA Mount, Black

That's why I'm writing this review after finishing setup. I am very happy with this monitor! I started with a Benq 1080p monitor that I used outside my office building. salary! But it's blurry, lacks sharpness, and is only 60fps, which sucks! Whatever the reason, it is the HDMI cable that greatly affects your viewing pleasure! I purchased an 8K HDMI cable to pair with this monitor, and even though the manual doesn't list the HDMI cable because it only comes with a DP cable, the seller still included the HDMI cable!

You get the manual, a 5-foot DP cable, a 6-foot HDMI cable, spare mounting screws, and a really nice little black cover for the back of the base to cover the screws. The all solid steel bracket is well made and looks nice and tall. Quality and Weight I can easily assemble based on the profile picture on this page, all you need is a standard size Phillips screwdriver. When assembling, be careful not to press the stand into the monitor! As mentioned in the manual, your screen may break because it is too thin and too curved.

How to open the box! Yes, you need some tips on how to open this beautiful beast on your computer screen. I chose to ship in Amazon's Choice packaging (very, very important) so it arrived protected in a large box. After opening the box, you need to pull the Styrofoam sandwich 360 degrees while holding the two slices together to remove it from the mesh box. It is best to do this carefully on the bed as it is not fastened or locked in any way. Only two bands. Make sure the back of the screen is facing inward and facing up. If you carefully removed the Styrofoam cover, you'll need it to attach the stand to the back of the monitor so you can lift it off.

All accessories are in front of you. Please note that this screen cannot be stolen from the screen as it is very thin! It is noted on the front of the screen or in the manual that I think removing it from the screen or over-tightening the screws on the back of the screen could damage it! They are very fragile and I made sure to position the screws correctly before installing so they wouldn't come loose. Once you know the base, you can center the top of the screen and the base itself and place them in the designated location.

My settings. At this point you may be concerned about the brightness. No problem! I figured out these buttons pretty quickly and they're pretty simple, so I'll explain them here. I don't use HDR. I found a way to contrast and dim, and my Xbox One already has a 1440p setting. My setup is as follows: Your buttons should be in the bottom right corner of the back from Top to Bottom, M, E, Up, Down, Power. M to enter, then M again to access the selected part of the menu, a third time to enter that specific setting, then M again to access the setting you selected. E escape. In the menu after pressing M, your first option is “Brightness,” which is only half the brightness setting. I have the brightness set to 100 and the contrast is the other half of the brightness I set to 65.

Next is "Eco", not very important shades in light mode, some are a bit dark, I leave it as default, movie is a close second, I don't think it makes sense to change it. The HDR mode keeps turning off because it makes everything look too raw and dark.

Obviously I left that side wide and then left the color temperature as the best user setting, but there's a cool setting and a warm setting and the user is the default because I used the low blue light setting in the menu to warm everything up. The stress on astigmatism was also reduced to some extent.

I did not change the OSD settings. Then there's AF, AF, and color AF, but in my current setup they're grayed out and I don't need them anyway. Then there is the master reset button.

At the bottom is the settings menu. The source (it's an HDMI 2 BC, which is one of the two HDMI ports I use, and it's auto generated), the auto off option, the low blue light (which is a very warm setting) set to 25 is the first configuration (no migraines for me!) then the switch Freesync, DP switch.

The color is absolutely amazing. This makes me nervous because it's too thin for me, but my last screen was from 2014 and was about an inch thick, and this one is almost as thin as a #2 pencil 😶✏️, and the screen is like it's float adjustable Overall, it's great and my OCD demon is happy Very happy with this purchase as well as my blindness. Everything was a bit blurry until I changed the Xbox display settings from 1080p to 1440 and now I can't stop 😂💖
