Wainyok 10.1 Inch Tablet for Kids: Android 12 32GB RAM 256GB Tablet | Quad Core Processor - WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual Camera, Google GMS Certified Games, Parental Controls with Case
So what do you do with that late '90s Dodge Neon (first edition mini) or Chevy Cavalier lying around in your garage? Baby stroller. It looks somewhat similar, but it's different.
Well, that's not a good analogy, after all, it's a completely new device. But they seem to be using the old leftover parts: a slower processor, not much RAM, and a camera that won't give Leica employees sleepless nights, and to cap it, they got it when they were kids. It is referred to as a tablet computer. It is not as powerful as a children's tablet. The newest and biggest ever.
This is not really fair. It's not a bad tablet by any means, and I think they underestimate themselves and call it that. It comes with a clear silicone sleeve and not the thick foam sleeve that most children's tablets use, so it's definitely more suitable for the "big kid" than the little one. It looks perfect for its intended use. One of the older kids has the Fire Kids version, but it's a little dated. It ran out of battery so it has to be used in restricted mode (more on that in a bit) and I've had enough. (This version predates the "Big Kids" version.) The device will work more seamlessly between devices until you're old enough to use an "adult" tablet without supervision.
The good thing is that it uses USB-C for data transfer and charging instead of the weak USB. I have changed my position on this matter. I used to prefer USB charging, but recently got a few tablets and recently gave the family a quick break, so I prefer the "C" now. But seriously, how do we get them to accept wireless charging in kids' devices? I don't know a single child (or adult) who would be patient enough to pull the rope properly. It's not new technology or anything.
So, if you are looking for a tablet like me, this one looks really good and is reasonably priced. Suitable for young people.
