Review FESABOLE 2 in 1 Newest 2023 Android 12 Tablet

FESABOLE 2023 Newest Android 12 Tablet 2 in 1, 10.1 Inch, 128GB Storage + 1TB Expansion, Octa Core Android Tablet, 2.4G/5G WiFi, 8MP+13MP Camera, with Keyboard, Cover Protection, Pen 7000 mAh battery

I was looking for a cheap Android tablet and got this complete package that has everything.

I was disappointed to find that the keyboard wasn't integrated into the carrying case like the iPad case. The keyboard is a functional but inexpensive keyboard with a solid metal back, small keys, and plenty of flexibility. This means you don't have to take the keyboard with you everywhere because it's separate from the 'package'.

The same applies to the "pen": an inexpensive ballpoint pen with a cap. It's not worth more than a few dollars (literally) and there's no room in the bag to secure it. Another defeat...

The tablet comes with a protective case and carrying case/stand. The case and stand fit the tablet perfectly and serve their purpose. Personally, I don't know why I use both because they only add volume. A screen protector was included, but I removed it almost immediately. It doesn't feel comfortable and is very difficult to apply without air bubbles. Your travel costs may change.

The device itself is not bad. It comes pre-installed with Android 11, which is almost three years old at the time of writing (the current "newest" version of Android is 13). It performs better than Android 10 and since it is a budget device, I think it is the right choice for the OS version. I wouldn't hold my breath for an update or upgrade. The good thing is that there is an option to upgrade from an SD card, so a rooted version may be available for download in the future.

The device was fast and loaded most of my (work) apps. Web browsing, email, and other basic Internet tasks run smoothly and efficiently. All my Bluetooth devices (keyboard, mouse, headset) connect easily and work properly. Since I don't play tablets, I can't comment on gaming performance.

For the full price of $229 (advertised), I think it's a good deal, but I don't feel like I would pick it up. The "full package" isn't worth it compared to similarly priced "bare brand" tablets, some of which outperform the hardware and most of which come with guaranteed software updates and upgrades. At around $75 off, I think it's closer to the cost of the full package and would make a nice entry-level or night-time tablet.
