The Chinese company Oppo launched a new smart watch, the Oppo Watch 4 Pro, with many improvements over the previous version.
The design of the new Oppo Watch is similar to the previous version, except that the company changed the manufacturing material from aluminum to stainless steel, which makes the watch more durable but also heavier than the previous version.
The weight of the Oppo Watch 3 Pro is about 37 grams, while the weight of the new version of the watch increases to 52 grams.
Oppo has improved the exterior design of the watch case, as it features a soft texture compared to the rough design of the side buttons.
The bottom of the OPPO watch is made of ceramic material, which has high durability and can also reduce the risk of dermatitis caused by wearing the watch.
The Oppo Watch 4 Pro features a 1.9-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 378 x 396 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi.
The new OPPO Watch is available in two versions: black and silver, with multi-colored straps and the watch supports water resistance up to 5 ATM.
Oppo added a group of sensors to the watch that can perform a quick one-minute scan to measure some key vital signs such as heart rate and oxygen levels. The watch can also perform an electrocardiogram (ECG) and detect some arrhythmias such as atrial flutter (AF).
The watch can also track sleep cycles, stress levels, blood vessel elasticity, and other important metrics.
OPPO claims that the watch can measure blood sugar in real-time, warn users when the blood sugar level is abnormally high, as well as measure body temperature.
The Oppo Watch 4 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon+ W5 processor along with another additional processor capable of performing simple tasks with less power consumption, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 570mAh battery in all modes. Continuous for 5 days and 1 hour. If you use the watch frequently, this time will be reduced by half. With power saving mode activated, the battery lasts up to two weeks and can be charged quickly.
The watch includes an eSIM chip that allows connection to 4G networks and also supports NFC technology, but both features may be limited to the Chinese market. It is worth noting that the watch supports wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.
The Oppo Watch 4 Pro starts at $320 and can get more expensive depending on the version. The watch will go on sale next September.
