Google lets you write emails in Gmail using artificial intelligence

According to the company, Google announced during the “Cloud Next” conference that it organized, the ability to write and edit emails in Gmail using artificial intelligence.

This feature is one of the features offered by Duet AI Assistant in various Google Workspace applications such as Docs, Meetings, etc.

Google said on its official website that Duet AI Assistant will improve Gmail's Smart Reply feature, allowing users to create longer drafts and more personalized emails with just one click.

Users who use Gmail on computers and mobile apps will see a new button called “Help me type” that provides various typing options.

The Duet AI assistant uses the user's words to create emails as an editable draft before sending, and also understands the context of previous emails to create appropriate responses.

New features in Gmail let you control the text, add more detail, or shorten your messages. It also allows you to customize the content you want to create in your posts and write additional drafts by clicking the Duplicate button.

Google also offers a Help Me Write feature in the Google Docs app to generate ideas and text, summarize content, improve wording, and more.

The feature is based on the generative artificial intelligence model developed by Google, and subscribers to the “Workspace” plan can access the Duet AI assistant through various Google applications for an additional fee.
