Ways to fix notifications not showing up on your Apple Watch

The Apple smart watch has an elegant design and great features, including: the ability to receive and track calls, messages, and notifications from various applications without having to hold the phone, but sometimes the Apple Watch stops showing notifications for various reasons.

If you no longer see notifications on your Apple Watch, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1- Check your notification settings:

You can turn on specific notifications for your watch in the Watch app on your iPhone. You can customize notification settings for watchOS apps and iPhone apps. So if you turn off notifications for certain apps, they won't show up on your Apple Watch.

To check your notification settings, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, then tap (Notifications).
  2. Scroll down to find the list of apps. There you can select a specific app and make sure its notifications are turned on on your Apple Watch.

2- Restart your Apple Watch:

Restarting your Apple Watch can help fix some software issues you might be experiencing, such as: b. Media issues. To do this, follow these steps:

  2. Slide the power indicator to the right to turn off the clock.
  3. Restart your watch by pressing and holding the side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

3- Make sure your Apple Watch is unlocked:

If you set a passcode on your Apple Watch for security reasons, the watch won't show notifications and you must unlock your Apple Watch to see notifications.

If your watch is off, a blue lock will appear at the top of the screen. To unlock your watch, swipe the screen and enter your passcode. To completely disable passwords, do the following:

  1. Press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to open the apps menu or the home screen.

4- Pair your Apple Watch again:

You can also try to fix the problem by unpairing your Apple Watch from your iPhone and then pairing it again. However, you must be careful with this step as it will erase all unsaved data on your watch.

So, after making sure your Apple Watch data is backed up, you can unpair the watch with your phone and start pairing it, just as you did when you first set it up using the Watch app.

5- Disable the focus function:

Focus on Apple devices blocks app notifications when enabled to prevent distractions. Once activated, your device will not alert you with notifications and they will not appear on your screen as usual. However, you can check them manually after that. To turn off focus on your Apple Watch, go to Control Center, scroll down and tap the moon icon.

It is important to note that if you open focus on a device connected to the watch, it will appear on that device. Example: If you activate focus on the iPhone connected to the watch, it will automatically work on the Apple Watch. So make sure to disable it on other devices.
