Apple makes many wireless headphones, including AirPods and Beats, that feature sleek design and powerful functionality. The AirPods Max are among the best AirPods Apple has ever made thanks to a different design (sits on the ear rather than inside like Beats headphones) and powerful features that combine custom acoustic design with advanced software for an exceptional listening experience.
But on Thursday, Apple unveiled the new Beats Studio Pro headphones, which are similar to the AirPods Max model in many specifications and features. Let's talk about the main features of the new Beats Studio Pro headphones:
design:
The Beats Studio Pro headphones deliver an immersive listening experience in a sleek, premium design, and even with the volume turned up, these headphones deliver crisp, clear sound without distortion.
Visually, Beats Studio Pro is similar to the popular Beats Studio 3 headphones. Compared to the AirPods Max model, the headphones lack the velvety feel of AirPods Max. Instead, the headphones no longer have seams and the manufacturing process has been improved to be more durable and comfortable.
In addition, the design creates a better seal around your ears, which helps block out external noise and contributes to noise cancellation performance.
On the other hand, it is much lighter than the AirPods Max, which weighs 260 grams, compared to about 384 grams for the AirPods Max.
The letter B (the Beats logo) appears on the speaker and in the outer ring around it is a button that allows you to turn the sound clip on or off or scroll through the soundtrack. Pressing the top of the logo increases the volume, pressing the bottom of the logo decreases the volume. There's also a USB-C charging port and a standard 3.5mm jack for wired headphones.
Featuring a new soft rectangular case with a few pockets, the Beats Studio Pro headphones feature the same unique hinge design that allows you to fold the headphones without laying them flat.
The Beats Studio Pro headphones come in four colors: black, sand, navy blue, and dark brown.
Perfomance:
The Beats Studio Pro headphones are similar to the Beats Studio Plus headphones. Suitable for Apple and Android phone users, these headphones are powered by a custom Beats chip (instead of the Apple H1 or H2 processor) and feature Bluetooth 5.3.
Android users get Google Fast Pair and can download the Beats app for Android to their device. Android users can use the multi-point pairing feature to automatically switch between devices associated with their Google account. However, if you are an Apple user, the speaker is linked to your iCloud account, but you will have to switch between devices manually, which some people prefer because the automatic switching can be annoying at times.
However, there are a few features Android users don't get: spatial audio with head tracking technology and Siri voice assistant. Unlike the Buds Plus models, these headphones feature spatial audio and head tracking technology, allowing Apple users to watch videos on Apple devices running iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and TVOS.
Users of Apple and Android devices can use the "Find My" function, which helps to locate headphones if they are lost.
These headphones don't have ear detection sensors, which means tracks won't automatically pause when you take them off, nor resume when you put them back in.
Noise cancellation and voice call quality:
These headphones perform very well and you will find that the noise cancellation is very effective and adapts to the noise levels around you. In addition, the transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings very naturally without affecting the quality of the audio clips you are listening to.
Beats Studio Pro's improved vocal positioning microphone helps you take high-quality calls. These powerful microphones filter out background noise so you'll hear up to 27% clearer than Beats Studio3 headphones.
There are two ways to use the Studio Pro in wired mode: You can plug it into a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, or you can connect it directly to your computer or smartphone via USB-C.
In (USB-C) mode, you can switch between three EQ modes: (Beats Signature Sound), (Entertainment Mode) for watching movies and games, and (Conversation Mode) ideal for taking calls or listening to podcasts. The equalizer setting is not available when listening in wireless mode.
battery life:
Beats Studio Pro headphones can play for up to 40 hours without ANC and up to 24 hours with ANC on or Transparency mode.
price:
The Beats Studio Pro headphones retail for $349 and 99 cents and come in four colors: black, sand, navy blue, and dark brown.
