ViewSonic Omni VX2428 24" 165Hz 0.5ms 1080p IPS Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium, Frameless, HDMI, DisplayPort, Black
First, note that you're using a 27-inch 1080p monitor, so the pixel density isn't as good as a 27-inch 1440p monitor or a 24-inch 1080p monitor. If you're sensitive to pixel density or sit too close to the screen, this isn't the monitor for you. I sit quite far back and not as small as I'd like, so 1080p 27" works fine for me without having to mess with DPI settings.
There were no dead pixels in testing, so that's always a good sign for quality control. I was able to enable G-Sync and play in 1080p at 165Hz. I don't have a colorimeter, but in sRGB mode the colors look good to me, although I have to turn down the brightness a bit.
HDR is on, and I tested it on Youtube for a while, but left it on because it was too bright for everyday use. Anyway, I wouldn't expect crazy HDR effects in this price range, and ViewSonic each has a peak brightness of 250 cd/m2. Since it is IPS, there will be no OLED black level. Viewing angles are very good.
I love this stand because it's adjustable in height, tilt, swivel* and swivel, and it's super solid!
One final note is that for some reason I can't set the color depth to 10 bits in the Nvidia control panel even though Viewsonic stated it's an 8-bit display (6-bit + FRC). i don't know why.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, especially considering the initial introductory price.
