I bought this laptop as a computer science student for programming, study and some computer projects. I also like the touch screen for reading and such. This laptop definitely exceeded my expectations. My old laptop was an acre and had a dedicated Nvidia GPU, but this one is awesome.
I'm not a gamer, but I played GTA V and Skyrim at high settings without lag. My old laptop can handle low to medium graphics performance. What that means to me is that if this laptop can handle a complex game like GTA V at near-maximum settings, it can certainly handle other graphics-intensive applications without a hitch.
I also installed Ubuntu with Windows and it started very quickly (about 5 seconds after booting).
It's the first laptop with an AMD chip and a touchscreen and it's been working pretty well so far.
The screen is also nice and big enough for my needs. I am so glad I took the chance.
However, there are many bloatware/freeware apps that I need to uninstall and many more startup apps that Windows 11 is happy to include. After taking off their shoes, they ran faster. In addition, you can perform various operations with Lenovo Vantage applications. Such as battery saver (recommended if it is still plugged in).
