Corsair XENEON 27QHD240 27" OLED Gaming Monitor - 2560 x 1440 240Hz 0.03ms Compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync™ Premium, DisplayHDR10, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C 3.1 - Black
I have used all the Oled screens available on the market. I have an LG C2 55 that I use for role-playing, watching TV and for personal business (programming and typing is not an issue for me - is it readable? for most people).
Corsair just installed Monitor I/O - I like the way they designed it.
PS5 / Xbox - they have HDMI 2.1.
There is no problem with the computer's display port
Type-C DP - The only high-end gaming monitor that offers this (I love the Type-C DP, I can plug it into my laptop's USB-C port for work and not have to worry about power supply (which is good enough unless you're gaming) and hubs USB for displays, since the monitors have a USB-C port for navigation (as did LG, Dell and Asus - still USB-A - not a game-changer but nice to have!) and Type-C DP.All you need is a button Screen input to switch between devices It is ideal for people who work and play on different devices on the same screen.
No RGB -> I like the black screen. It's subjective and therefore disappointing for those who prefer RGB.
Movies & TV -> Nothing special for me because I have a 55 c2. In areas like AI-assisted upscaling and smoothing, TVs are clearly doing quite well.
Black -> It's just black. Once you switch to OLED, you'll love the black and never look back (beware!).
Webcam mode -> I had problems with the AW34DWF due to the lack of a magnetic mount. These screens work great.
Gaming -> AW34DWF - The colors are great. When you get your hands on a WOLED panel, you'll notice the quantum dots panel saturate and eventually start to appreciate the colors on the WOLED.
Brightness -> I play and work with lights without issues. The built-in ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) is quite aggressive, but it should be noted that it does not affect your gameplay. However, regular use of the desktop takes some getting used to. There is a brightness stabilizer. When using it, the brightness is lower than normal. I'd recommend disabling the brightness stabilizer and getting used to the onboard ABL. This way you get the best experience in terms of brightness.
Even when the light is off (dark room) - with the brightness stabilizer turned on - it cannot be played. I think they do because of their 3 year anti aging guarantee. It took me 2-3 days to get used to ABL. I hardly noticed.
Hope this helps someone. I finally decided to keep it and started looking for an OLED screen in March, it finally came out!
