I'll probably be the last person to think I need or use a smartwatch. So I'm going to look at this from a different perspective than most. I am not a regular athlete. I don't bike, jog, walk, or go to the gym, but if you do, this watch is for you. I am elderly with serious health problems. Yes, I have always owned a watch and have a collection of over 300 watches. It was the love of watches that finally made me add a smartwatch to my collection, even though I wasn't expecting to use it often. Boy am I wrong? I was impressed from the moment I opened the box and saw two easy-to-attach straps, Sporty Orange and Traditional Black. Attaching my favorite black tape takes seconds. Then the fun begins as I explore the myriad of features this watch has to offer. The next thing that impresses me is the readability of the 2-inch touchscreen watch face with the ability to adjust watch face brightness and duty cycle, not to mention the ability to choose different watch faces for each world. Due to my health issues, I send my doctor daily reports of my vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, activity level, etc. However, I no longer need a fitness bracelet to monitor some of this data, nor do I need to become a blood pressure monitor, which is tiring when I work out several times a day, but I can do everything with a smartwatch. Swipes and taps on the screen give me accurate readings of my blood pressure, heart rate, and even blood oxygen levels, so I can give my doctor more readings each day. In addition, readings are saved by day, week and month. Did I mention that it can also make and receive calls, texts, etc.? ? It took seconds to pair with my phone, and like all watch features, it's intuitive and easy to use. I can honestly say that I absolutely loved all the features of this watch and would regret not buying one sooner. I have one last important factor to consider. Given all the features, how often should this watch be charged? I don't have a definitive answer yet, but I can easily estimate it. After the first 5 days of use I got a low battery warning. However, I expect the value to at least triple with normal use. When I first sent it in, I took the time to fill in all the settings and preferences I wanted and continued to use it, testing and clicking on different features as I always do when I receive something like this again. Now that I've adopted a more natural usage pattern, I'm guessing the battery will run for at least two weeks before charging.
That would be my conclusion: No matter who you are, how active you are, how old you are, and whatever your needs are, this smartwatch has you covered. And it's reasonably priced without breaking the bank. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. It definitely deserves 5++ stars!
