ASUS CX1500CNA-AS84F Chromebook CX1 Laptop

ASUS CX1500CNA-AS84F Chromebook CX1, 15.6" FHD NanoEdge Display, Intel Celeron N3350 Processor, 64GB eMMC Storage, 8GB RAM, Chrome OS, Mystic Silver

I love my new laptop but the colors on the screen are ok...not too bright, average use and could be remedied by tilting the screen to a better angle. I shop online and some of the clothes look very light and the photos are not very saturated... I wouldn't recommend this laptop to anyone who uses it for design etc. Suitable for simple home use, commercial use and student use. Nice background themes to choose from, great use of Google products, and I've easily installed a wireless Bluetooth mouse. The screen is nice and big, especially at this roughly $200 price point. I bought it on Prime Day and I'm very happy with my purchase. I can run Google with many tabs open without any issues. I wish the speakers were better. I listen to music on my phone or through Alexa because the speakers are small and in an odd position... right on the front outer edge on either side of the laptop when it's open. I use it to watch movies with the volume turned up in bed, but I still have trouble hearing everything. Sometimes the bed also blocks the speakers due to its location. Basic size will be taken care of for regular Zoom meetings, YouTube, etc. I would recommend this laptop for normal basic use...it's fast, well designed, and has plenty of handy ports. Another thing I would like to mention is that it does not turn on initially even after a few hours of charging. I googled a lot for troubleshooting ideas but nothing seemed to work. After cursing a few words and almost giving up, he finally let out a magical sound and appeared. Make sure to charge the device from an outlet and not an extension cord or power strip. I thought it would keep charging, so I had to figure out which button to press to get it to work the first time. Only these things, other than that, I like laptops for my needs and recommend Asus products. The touchpad is very fast and responsive. It's not a touchscreen... I think people confuse a touchscreen with a touchpad. The keyboard is comfortable and the battery life is long.
