How do you use Google tools to take care of your pets?

If you enjoy keeping pets, there are many online tools to help you take care of them. Some of the tools that you can take advantage of in this field are those provided by Google, such as: Google Maps, Google Images, and Google Assistant which we will mention. Here are other tools and tips on how to use them:

1- Easily find and save pet-friendly places with Google Maps:

Get a handy list of Centipede Parks and Reserves on Google Maps. Once you find a suitable location, click the save button to add it to your list of pet locations for quick and easy access.

You can also search Google Maps for "cat friendly restaurants near me" and add these options to your own list.

2- Quickly find photos of your pets in Google Photos:

There are two ways to quickly and easily find all of your pet's photos in Google Photos. You can rely on the AI in Google Photos to automatically collect all photos of the same person or animal.

You can also search using words like "(cat)" and you will see all the pictures. If you have already added your pet's name to Google Images, you can also search for your pet's name in Google Images. To add your pet's name, follow these steps:

  1. In Google Photos, go to Settings (Settings), find the option (Group of similar faces) and turn on the option (Show animals with people).
  2. Go to the Search tab and click on People & Pets.
  3. Search for photos of your pets and add their names so you can easily find all of their photos.

3- Quickly connect with your vet with the Google Assistant:

If you have a Pixel phone, you can set up a shortcut to use the Google Assistant to call your vet from your phone in an emergency.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings on your Pixel phone and find Shortcuts.
  2. Click Options (Create New Shortcut) to create a new shortcut.
  3. Tap "When I say 'Ok Google'" and add the phrase you want to say to the Call Vet-related voice assistant: Call Vet or Vet SOS.
  4. Tap "Google Assistant should" and add the task you want the Google Assistant to do when you say the phrase you added, in this case "Call the vet".

4- Monitor your pets with Nest Cam and the Google Home app while you're out:

When you're away, you can use the Google Home app to monitor your pets with the Nest Cam. When the app opens, tap the "Camera Room" option to see your pets in your home, or add the camera to the "Favorites" tab so you can see them right after opening the app.

5- Collect important information about your pet in one document for easy sharing:

You can use Google Docs to add basic information about your pet, especially medical needs such as vaccinations and medications. You can store and track all this information in Google Docs and easily share it with others when needed.
