Google Photos is packed with features that help you view, back up, organize, edit, and share your photos and videos. In addition, the application has a (Map View) feature that allows you to view your photos and videos on a map, see where you took certain photos, and help you plan future trips.

How do I display my photos on a map using Map View?
You can use the map view feature in Google Images by doing the following:
- Go to the Google Photos app and select the "Search" tab at the bottom of the app's homepage.
- In the Places section, click on Your Maps.
- A map will appear with points showing where you took the most photos. You'll also see a bubble showing the location of the most recent photo as well as a preview of that photo.
- Below the map are the photos, in chronological order from newest to oldest.

The map showing where the photos were taken is interactive just like Google Maps. For example, instead of showing a general area with multiple photos, you can zoom in on the map to see the photos you took at a specific location. In addition, you can change the map view by clicking on the three dots button in the upper right corner and choosing Satellite or Terrain.
If you click on a bubble in the map, the image will be displayed in full screen. If you want to see all the photos taken in a specific location, just click on a specific area of the map.
Find a photo or video on the map:
Instead of displaying photos and videos as a group on a map, you can use Google Photos to find the location of a specific video or photo. By doing the following steps:
- Open the photo or video in the Google Photos app.
- Click the three dots button in the upper right corner to view the file information.
- In the Locations section, click on the map. The photo or video is then displayed on a map, showing where the photo or video was taken.
