Features that IOS 17 outperforms Android

The upcoming iOS 17 release has a lot of useful features that will improve your iPhone experience as the release brings new features to the Messages app, Safari browser, FaceTime app, and more. With this release, iOS will surpass Android in many functions. We mention the following:

1- The ability to create stickers directly from photos:

iOS 17 is better than Android

One of the features that Apple added when it released iOS 16 was the ability to isolate the subject of a photo and then paste it into another app. Samsung borrowed this feature and added it to its phones with the release of the One UI 5.1 interface, but Apple improved it in iOS 17, adding the ability to convert image attributes into stickers.

If you want to use a photo as a sticker, all you have to do is long press on the subject of the photo. Next, the Isolate Design From Image menu will appear, but it will have a new option: Add Sticker.

After clicking this option, the image will be directly converted into a sticker and added to other stickers that can be used in the messaging app. With iOS 17, you can also add different effects to these stickers.

2- Sharing passwords securely:

It's hard to share your passwords securely if you don't use a password manager. Apps like 1Password and Bitwarden offer Family Sharing plans so anyone can access passwords for a particular service without sending them in clear text, ensuring passwords are shared between multiple people in a secure way.

iOS 17 aims to make it easier for users to securely share passwords without the need for third-party apps. Apple has updated iCloud Keychain to allow creating a group with multiple users who can add and change passwords and keys. Apple claims that sharing processes are end-to-end encrypted. .

While Google continues to update its Chrome Password Manager service, the feature is yet to come.

3- Standby mode:

iOS 17 includes a mode called StandBy that turns your iPhone into a desk clock. When iPhone is connected to a MagSafe charger and placed in landscape orientation, the iPhone screen displays the time, widgets, and a few other items. You can also use your iPhone as a smart display that displays your favorite photos.

The latest Samsung phones with One UI 5 offer a similar mode to sleep mode, but other Android phones do not have this feature.

4- Functions that promote mental health:

iOS 17 is better than Android

Google, Apple and other smartphone makers are adding features to help you improve your mental health and enjoy different activities instead of using your phone all the time. Android has Digital Wellbeing features, while Apple has its own called Screen Time. These two features will shorten the life of the phone.

But with iOS 17 and watchOS 10, Apple has focused on adding new features designed to benefit mental health in a number of ways. The new Magazine app is expected to appear on the iPhone later this year. This is a diary app that has the ability to add photos, location data, etc. The app should also be able to remind users if they've forgotten to note a recent trip.

It may not seem like a big deal to many people, but journaling can have a huge impact on your mental health. A study published in the Journal of the National Library of Medicine indicates that journaling has positive effects and can be effective in alleviating mental health problems, increasing well-being, and improving physical function.

In addition to the Journal app, Apple has also updated the Mindfulness app in watchOS 10, which allows users to log their feelings and emotions. This information is recorded in the Health app on iPhone and iPad devices, which helps them track their feelings and causes of anxiety and depression and get a PDF with all this data to share with professionals.
