First, I have a great laptop. However, for general day-to-day use, I have a small and inexpensive Windows tablet (portable enough to take anywhere).
My cheap 8 year old windows tablet recently showed clear signs of not working with any other patch and it's time to look for another one.
I came across this tablet while browsing Amazon. Like other reviewers, I saw the low price and can always return it if it's not worth it.
First, it's a pretty compact device (with Windows 11 Home pre-installed). Image quality is excellent, with clear and vibrant colours. It also has excellent stereo speakers (far better than the quality of cheap tablets). The tablet can be easily attached and detached from the keyboard and can be used completely independently.
A few tips and hints: 1) There is only one USB port, a standard USB-A port. USB-C port for power only. I got concerned when I saw that the charger was putting out 12 volts!
This is not a problem. If you Google "USB-C delivers 12 volts," you'll find an article that explains USB power distribution. The power supply is connected to the device it is connected to and provides the appropriate voltage and current when needed. > Do not explode 5V devices! (amazing)!
2) The tablet has a 64GB SSD disk. You can also install a 128 GB Micro SD card as a second drive (D:). Put all your personal data on this drive and leave the C: drive for programs.
There is a small downside, there is no "Delete" button. To delete, you must press the backspace key or right-click.
The touch screen is as good as the touchpad. (The right and left click buttons are located below).
The touchpad is very sensitive and typing gets in the way. Disabling (Fn + Spacebar) is easy.
Tip: Get a Bluetooth mouse. good results.
