Most of my impressions are based on comparisons with an older brand tablet that I really like, except it only has 32GB of internal storage and the back is starting to separate from the body. So far the new Plimpton tablet has exceeded my expectations by comparison. Ex: large memory (128 GB). You can add a micro SD card for external storage. Excellent graphics. It has all the advantages of a branded tablet, except that it lacks a stylus (which is not a big deal for me). It responds like my old tablet, even in my games (Survival State and Sim City Building). The size is correct. Easy to set up and works with newer Android versions from older tablets. It has a headphone jack. Dislike: The speakers could be better, but that's not a priority for me as I can connect to Bluetooth speakers or headphones. It's a little heavier than my old tablet, but it has a slightly larger screen (9.7 inches vs. 10.25 inches). Other: I haven't tried the camera. Setting up Bluetooth seems faster than my old tablet or even my new phone. It's easy to connect to an external Bluetooth keyboard (the onscreen keyboard works fine, but it's nice to have an alternative). Conclusion: I'm glad I didn't buy another tablet from a well-known brand. This one costs a lot less but has improved features. Another point: I recently went through a brand flat screen TV warranty experience. A branded TV has breached its warranty. So why pay extra for a new tablet? If you ever need to contact their warranty I hope Plimpton will do a better job but so far I am very satisfied and would consider buying from Plimpton again.
