Lenovo 3i Chromebook - 2023 - Everyday Laptop - Chrome OS - 15.6-inch HD - 8GB RAM - 64GB Storage - Intel Celeron N4500
This is my third Chromebook and probably my favourite. I use the Asus C302, and while it was great at the time, the battery life and touchscreen responsiveness are long gone.
This is my first Lenovo and I have to say it's great. I knew what I was getting from a Chromebook, but I was totally amazed at how good this Chromebook was, even after reading so many reviews.
Color - wow. You have to see it in person and I love that the keyboard area is case style. Very delicate dark blue colour.
The keyboard looks good and feels comfortable. Its feel and performance are superior to laptops four times the price. I never really heard the fan chirp except in a very quiet environment, and the heat seemed on par with what I've seen in previous laptops. This means that the fan turns on and off again sometimes. not important.
I definitely have to get used to the weight, but in a positive way. I think the weight is close to perfect, although it could be lighter. On the other hand, it gives the device a high-quality feel rather than just cheap junk.
The built-in speakers are also a welcome change, as previous Chromebooks had side speakers. The sound quality is very good and although the bass is a bit lacking, it still surprises me. Sincerity can only be earned through a strong speaker who cannot be underestimated.
My only gripe is that the screen could be brighter for outdoor use. When I tap on the computer with my thumb to move it slightly, I feel and hear a creak or flex near the trackpad. Sometimes the resistance of your trackpad depends in part on the oil level in your fingers.
All in all a great computer for the price (I paid $299) and I would definitely buy it again. I like that the OS will be updated in 2029. As with all Chromebooks, finding chemistry between hardware and ChromeOS updates can sometimes be difficult if you don't do your homework.
