In general, I like this tablet. It gets one star for several reasons. First, you need to purchase a subscription to unlock most of the games and activities here. Perhaps this is normal in today's society, but it could mean that your children are begging for things you don't have. I downloaded but did not pay.
Another important reason is that the volume is too loud at the lowest level. I mean you are in another room and the volume is so low you can hear everything.
Another reason this isn't 5 stars is because you have kids profiles not parent profiles. To go to the parental profile, you need to use the icon and go to the settings to lower the screen brightness and change the settings. This is great so kids don't get in their way, but it also takes a lot of time to sign out of their profile, so go to your profile and find settings. In the end, I wasn't able to get the back button back (it was a tactile back button since there weren't any physical buttons other than the power button) so I had to lock and unlock it to get the back button back.
Overall, I would still recommend this tablet for its price. Battery life is very good and drop resistance is very good. The screen protector isn't very good, so we didn't use it. But even at high volume, the colors and sound quality are excellent.
The touch screen works fine most of the time. When you draw, sometimes your fingers don't move at all or don't register. It can be difficult to explain to children, which can be frustrating, but they will learn more from it. .
