This laptop was quite impressive when it was launched. He behaves very well no matter what I accuse him of. The 40 Series' new graphics features really help with that. The laptop is solidly built and has no curved surfaces around the keyboard. The screen is 1200p, is just slightly larger than FHD at 16 inches and looks great. No glare and very good contrast. Yes, you can just open it and swap the ram and add another m.2 SSD. Dual channel memory and m.2 full size. Yes, it is quiet even at low loads. Of course, if you're running something demanding, the fans will get bigger, but a look at the CPU/GPU shows that they cool quite well.
The placement of the power port is odd, even though it's centered on the right side, and the power adapter is quite large, which can cause problems for some people when trying to mount it somewhere. There is a weird issue with the 3.5mm headphone jack and using a headphone with a built-in mic can cause weird audio issues. Searching the web, I found that low-impedance headphones can cause such issues on some laptops. My tests with expensive high-impedance headphones showed no signs of this problem, so that may be the cause. I also found that the trackpad can be a bit unstable, as it sometimes didn't register taps and often didn't register two-finger scrolling correctly. I've tried reinstalling drivers and changing settings for sound/trackpad issues but nothing seems to help. Since this is a new laptop, we hope these issues will be fixed soon.
