With the spread of chatbots, most people rely on them for many tasks, and Bing Chatbot is one of the most popular programs recently due to the many features it includes, in addition to Microsoft, which announced in May that it will be in the future. Over time, new features have been added to bots.
Since so many of us use Bing chat bots and other chatbots to get information and get things done, it's important to know how to save conversations for future reference.
Although most chatbots do not have a chat recording feature, you can use Bing Chat to record chats in several ways:
1- Save a specific conversation using the built-in export option:
Microsoft has added an export option as part of the Bing chat bot extensions. It helps to save your conversations for reference at any time.
Bing allows you to save conversations in three different ways: PDFs, text files, and Word documents. However, you cannot save the entire chat using the export option, but you can use the export option to save certain parts.
To save a Bing Chat conversation using the export option, follow these steps:
- Start a new chat by asking a few questions and waiting for a response from Bing Chat.
- Click the "Export" button that appears in the chat window.
- Choose the file type by selecting PDF, Text or Word option. Then the file is automatically saved to your computer.
2- Save the entire conversation as a PDF:
If you want to save the entire chat history and not just a specific part, you can use the Print option to save the entire chat page as a PDF. To try it out, do the following:
- Start chatting with the Bing Chat bot.
- When you are done chatting, press both keys (Ctrl and P) on your Windows or Linux computer. Alternatively, if you are using a Mac computer, press the keys (Cmd and P).
- In the window where the print order was executed, go to the "Printer" section and click the radio button to see the available options.
- You will find an option (Save as PDF), click on it.
- You can specify additional options, for example B. Layout Options to adjust the page size (portrait / landscape), Page Options to save all pages or specific pages, and Other Setup Options to adjust other page settings.
- After selecting the appropriate settings, click the Save button.
- Choose where you want to save the PDF file on your computer, then click Save.
3- Take a screenshot:
Another way to save a conversation with Bing Chat is to take a screenshot of the entire conversation or a specific section and save it to a folder on your computer.
You can take screenshots on your Windows computer by using various tools such as the Snipping Tool or by clicking the Print Screen button. Other operating systems have similar tools.
4- Copy and paste the chat into Microsoft Word:
One final way to save your entire Bing chat history is to copy all parts of the conversation by selecting and pasting them into a Microsoft Word document and saving the document to your computer.
