Sometimes you start playing a video game on your iPhone and then the app suddenly closes, and the problem occurs several times when you try to open the game or launch the Camera app to take a picture, but the Camera app keeps crashing.
Various factors can cause apps to crash on iPhone. However, there are several simple solutions to fix this problem, which we explain below:
1- Check your internet connection:
If the functionality of the app you want to use requires an internet connection, wifi or bad hotspots can cause the app to crash frequently. You can check if your internet is working by visiting any website through Safari and loading some web pages. To troubleshoot internet connection issues, restart your router or connect to a different WiFi network.
2- Charge your iPhone:
If you are playing a multiplayer game with high quality graphics but your iPhone battery is only at 10%, the app may suddenly close because your phone is struggling to provide enough power to keep running. In this case, connecting your iPhone to a charger can temporarily prevent the app from crashing again.
However, it is not recommended to charge the iPhone while it is in use, because heavy use of the iPhone while charging may cause the iPhone to overheat and crash apps.
3- Close the application and restart it:
If an app is suddenly closed on your iPhone, it may still be open in the background even though it is not responding. When you reopen the app from the app switcher, you may get a blank screen and crash again.
In this case, try exiting the app completely before restarting it by going to the app switcher, going to the disabled app and closing it, then going to the home screen to restart it.
4- Update the application:
Developers frequently release updates to the app to fix bugs and performance issues. If apps keep crashing on your iPhone, updating those apps may help fix the problem.
To check for new app updates, go to the App Store and select the Search tab to find the app. If an update is available, the Update button appears instead of the Open button. Click on it to update the application.
5- Update the iPhone operating system:
Like updates for individual apps, iOS updates from Apple also contain bug fixes. If apps keep crashing on your iPhone and the above solutions don't work, you should try to update your phone's operating system.
To do this, go to the Settings app, select General, then Software Update and make sure that the update is available for your device.
6- Restart the iPhone:
Restarting your iPhone more often can fix minor problems, including apps that crash frequently. So, try to restart your phone and check if the app crashing issue is resolved.
7- Delete and reinstall the application:
If there is no update available for the respective app, another solution is to delete and reinstall it on the phone. and do it; Go to the iPhone home screen, press and hold an app icon, select the app to uninstall, and tap Uninstall app to confirm. After completing the steps, go to the App Store to reinstall the app.
