Google Collections is a feature that allows you to create images and links to specific web pages or locations on Google Maps and other Google services that you can save for future reference and organize as you wish. This feature is similar to the Pinterest Collections feature.
Google Groups is primarily available in the Google app that you can use on your Android phone and iPhone, and Google is integrating this feature into Google Chrome, Google Search, Google Maps, and Gmail.
You can access these groups from all of your devices if you're signed in to your Google account. Whether you're planning a trip, researching a topic, or want to bookmark important articles, Google Groups allows you to organize and share all your links, images, and articles.
Below we explain how to use this function:
First, how to use Google Collections:
Anyone who uses the Google app can use Google Groups. The process for creating a new group is the same for Android and iPhone devices. But before you start, download the Google app to your phone from the Google Play Store or App Store. If you're on a computer, the steps are the same, but go to google.com/collections instead of following the first step:
1- Go to Google Apps and select (Collections).
2- Click on the "Create" button at the bottom right.
3- Choose one of the following three options:
- Links: Create groups with specific links.
- All Saved Items: Create a group by selecting one or more saved items.
- Blank Template: Creates a blank template.
4- Choose a suitable name for the group and click Finish.
After completing these steps, you will have a group to add items to.
Second, how to add items to a collection using the Google app:
If you use the Google app to easily save items to your collection, the following steps are the same for Android phones and iPhones:
- Go to the Google app and find the item you want to save.
- Click on the item and then click on the save icon in the upper right corner.
- A notification will appear reminding you that the item has been saved to your recent favourites. However, you can choose a different group by clicking on the pop-up notification that appears after saving the project and selecting the group where you want to save the project.
third; To manage groups:
There are several ways to manage and edit groups and the items stored in them, and they are similar across devices:
- Go to the Google app on your iPhone or Android device and tap on the Favorites tab at the bottom right. On a computer, go to the Google Collections page google.com/collections.
- On the Favorites page, go to all your saved items to edit them, for example: add items or remove saved items.
- To make changes within a specific group, go to that group to organize the items it contains, or edit the name of the group and other details. You can also delete the group if you wish. In addition, you can share the group content with other people by clicking on the share button and then sending the group link to specific people so that you can collaborate with those people in the group.
Fourth, are Google Groups features available to everyone?
Google Groups is available in many countries, but may not be available in all languages or regions. You can verify that you have these by logging into your Google account and visiting the Google Collections page at google.com/collections.
