It falls somewhere between a full-fledged smartwatch and a fitness tracker. The build quality is good and feels solid on the wrist. Battery life is good so far. I like to charge it once a week so I don't have to worry about it breaking down. Bubble rolls are fun. There are many face templates to choose from. At least 50+ designs. It is interactive and offers a good level of customization. The alarm vibrates just enough to get my attention, which is fine considering this is a common problem with many entry-level smartwatches. You will have no problem getting out of bed in the morning. It uses Da Fit, a more mature app that easily connects to the Android version of Googie Fit. I mainly use Android but I hacked my daughter's iPhone to test the iOS version. Both versions of the app work well, pairing is easy, and it's relatively easy to configure your notification settings to your liking. It's always tricky getting permissions with an Android setup, but I found Da Fit easier to set up than Mi Fit (a competing app). The blood pressure function is surprisingly accurate. You should always sit upright without crossing your legs and keep your arms straight to read accurately. I wouldn't make any medical decisions based on that, but it's nice to be able to check your blood pressure on the go. Heart rate and sleep monitoring are working normally. The app does a good job of displaying graphs for various metrics, etc.
Hopefully, the crafting issues will be fixed in future updates:
- Only 3 warnings by default. I use three alarms during the day, two more in the morning to make sure I get up early enough, and twice a week to maintain a regular schedule. Three warnings are not enough. Please add the ability to set more notifications. I love the menu system and the functionality of each alarm, I just need more.
Rowing machines or cross trainers are not options for training styles. Or even a general gym equipment option. I don't need 30 different workout modes like some smartwatches, but I do want something that comes close to one of the most popular indoor experience devices.
I love its design, menu system, and accompanying apps. I'd like to see new features, but it won't be groundbreaking. It's a solid choice for a smartwatch/fitness tracker that won't break the bank.
