I bought it for my aunt who lives in a nursing home but sent it to myself first so I could install it for her because she doesn't like technology at all. I must say I am impressed! Starts quickly and responds to touch. The apps you install open at the same speed as the apps on your Samsung Galaxy Tab.
I can't comment on longevity because I recently installed it for my aunt, but it feels solid, like a Samsung, and the screen colors are great.
