Update: I would like to say that the customer service from this company is excellent. After I emailed them my issue, they resolved it very quickly. We request that all emails be answered within 24 hours. I would say it's great. The people are great and show commitment to exemplary customer service to their products!
The watch itself looks fine. If you want her to count steps, this may not be for you. I ran two miles and logged 3,254 wrong steps, which is about 800 more steps than I take each day, and I'm sure that will be fixed in time with a software update.
The heart rate and blood pressure monitors seemed pretty accurate, which surprised me considering the pedometer wasn't quite right. Since I only have a few days, I'm going to give myself more time to go out and try to remember to come back for an update.
Update, battery at 41% after 3.5 days. Certainly not what I've seen in reviews that say this battery lasts 2 weeks, 30 days, etc. I can't believe this battery lasts more than a week if you don't plug it into your phone. I unpaired the phone to see how far that 41% could go. I will update later.
UPDATE 4/19/23 Regarding battery life, I found that picking up the phone paired with it and making calls on it drained the battery pretty quickly. But that's to be expected, even with a Samsung smartwatch or iPhone. You have to charge them every day. Without the phone function the battery life should be several weeks, with the phone I would say even a week, so it's still pretty good compared to other watches with such functionality.
