I purchased this watch at a bargain price, shipped and sold by Amazon.
I looked at the reviews and concluded that most of the negative reviews were user error rather than product malfunction. (I seriously searched a lot on Amazfit, Garmin, Fitbit, etc.)
After receiving the watch, I put it on the charger, then watched videos of how the watch works and read the manual. After shipping... I had to make some corrections to get all the necessary permissions. If your license is right, this watch will do everything it promises. If something goes wrong, your watch will not operate at its full capacity. If you are not tech savvy, you may want to hire someone. You are browsing electronics. Don't be afraid to play with your watch. test function. Make sure to configure it according to your needs, you will love it.
I like that the watch is large, water resistant, and drop tested. I fall a lot and need something that will make the jump and work. Besides activity tracking, I needed something I could use to get emergency help. 24/7 or as soon as possible. The only time I don't use it is when it needs charging. It only lasts an hour or two and then it comes back to my wrist. Your phone needs to stay within range of the watch or the Bluetooth connection needs to be reset. (it hurts but not the fault of the watch) My BT failed because it was out of range. It was frustrating until I figured out how to reset it. For reference, I am using Samsung Galaxy a53 5g. I always keep my phone in a small phone case when I'm actually using it. If I take a shower and need emergency help, my phone is probably on the bathroom counter. When I can't use my hands, I can press a button, place a call, or use voice commands to place a call. For me it's better and cheaper than Life Alert.
I can make or receive calls on my watch. (Note some of the speaker's comments.) I like to have my text messages updated. If it's a long SMS, you won't be able to see everything unless you check your phone. You can set up quick replies so you can reply from your watch. However, I do not use this function. You can also send voice messages from your watch. I'd rather pick up the phone and answer a text that way. You can completely customize the way you use it. You can set it for all notifications or select the ones you want.
As far as health monitoring goes, that's a plus for me. very accurate. Kospet Fit app is free. Included with your watch, there are no monthly or additional hourly fees.
Amazfit and Fitbit monthly fees for the app! Made my decision easier. My blood pressure was measured by professionals and compared to watch results...extremely accurate. Sleep tracking is excellent! This records the quality and duration of your sleep. It divides wake time, light or deep sleep, REM sleep, and more. Suggestions for better sleep are also provided. I love the blood oxygen sensor. I test myself every 60 minutes. Little did I know that my oxygen level would drop to 92% overnight. Not every night, but enough to indicate a problem with sleep apnea. From 1 to 4 times a week. You can visualize the results of the plan, making it easier to spot anomalies. This gives you more control over your health. This gives you instant access to your stats and the ability to share them with your doctor. Help improve the quality of your healthcare.
I think Amazon repackaged it in a generic box. Presentation was good. I found out later that they didn't provide a guarantee because I didn't buy it directly from Kospet. They direct you to the sellers you buy from (Amazon, etc.).
I need to replace two defective items. Wrist strap and screen protector (poor installation due to a defect). This is the current problem. I will provide an update.
You have purchased an Assurion Product Protection Plan. Even now, getting warranty help can be difficult. Looks like I'll have to deal with Assurion. Fill out the complaint form, etc. I don't usually buy protection, but it's worth making sure the watch lasts at least three years.
If you want a different watch band, look no further than our 22mm Watch Band. I have a lot. Soft nylon, breathable stretchy, leather and tactical. I love these design options.
I know it is being sold as a men's watch, but I am a regular woman and it fits perfectly. When it comes to smart watch screens, I like bigger ones. Keep in mind that this is a female option.
