It looks great if you don't need it to transfer data to another fitness app. It tests for glucose but doesn't log it, obviously you can't get your g/dl without a calculation or chart. I don't know how accurate a blood glucose meter is, but today I'm going to test it with the help of a type 1 diabetic who uses a medical blood glucose meter. I haven't found the pedometer accurate with the veryfitpro tracker I've been using for two years. As long as the basic setting is entered, it tracks body temperature closely and blood pressure readings look good. I wish I could see a history of my glucose readings and change the readings to US standards, but for a $30 smartwatch, that's not bad at all. It would be nice if it were connected to Google Fit, Stratus or even Samsung Health. It seems that the camera function is not working, but it may be user error. It's fairly water resistant (rating 3:30) but there aren't any water activities on the sports chart, though the list does include a few backcountry sports I'd never heard of. I bought it specifically for swimming but even though the pool is described in the pictures, it does not have water sports! But it would be great if it could help us control our blood sugar without sticking.
Update: I'm sticking with 4 stars because the meter keeps shifting from 8 to 10 numbers when the mmol/L reading is multiplied by 18 to get g/dL. It's a little high. As long as we keep this in mind when checking, it is enough to help monitor. It's a great tool if you don't need to monitor your blood sugar all the time, or if you only need to do it a few times a day.
If it connected to a decent app like Google or Applefit, and had the option of US units and glucose readings saved (this would save the last reading before starting a new app) it would be 5 stars. Running an app may seem like it requires a lot of permissions and access, but it has many features that require it. It's okay if you're just following for fun and not trying to log into a health app.
