To edit a WhatsApp message after it has been sent:
Before using this feature, you should make sure that the WhatsApp application on your phone is updated to the latest version available. Then you can follow these steps:
- Long press on the message you sent and want to change whether it was sent to an individual or a group.
- Click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner and select Edit.
- Edit the message if necessary, then resend it.
- Once the edited message is sent, it will show "Edited" at the bottom, but don't worry, the other party will not see the edited record.
Note: Remember that you can only edit a message for 15 minutes after it has been sent. After that, the option to edit will disappear.
