- Enter your email address and click the "Add to Queue" button. So, you will be added to the list of users who are waiting to try the Bluesky app before all users finally launch it.
- You will receive an email when it is your turn to leave the queue. So be sure to monitor your inbox.
However, the downside to this approach is that there are more than 1.9 million users in the queue waiting to try the app. As such, there is no set time frame for your application to be accepted, it can take weeks or even months.
2- Get the invitation code to join the Blue Sky application:
Currently the quickest way to join a Blue Sky app is to get an invite code from an existing app user. Users receive a code every week to share with anyone they wish. It may take some time before you get an account after redeeming this code, but it's definitely a faster option than keeping a place on the waiting list.
So you need to find someone who already has an account on the app and willing to share their invite code with you.
Is Bluesky a viable alternative to Twitter?
Bluesky offers a Twitter-like experience where you click the plus button to compose a 256-character message that can also include an image. The same post can be replied to, Retweeted, and Liked, but instead of (Tweets) using (Skate), users tag the post which combines (SKY) and (Tweet).
However, the difference between Bluesky and Twitter is that it is based on an open framework, which means that in addition to the decentralized Discord platform, users can also post messages via servers dedicated to specific interests or communities, similar to the Mastodon system used.
