To solve this problem, Samsung has released version (5.6.10.31) of the app (Samsung Keyboard) in the Galaxy Store app store.
And since the Store (Galaxy Store) automatically updates apps in the background, your phone's apps should now be up to date and your battery should be back to normal.
However, if the app auto-update feature is not enabled, go to the Galaxy Store and manually install the latest version of the Samsung Keyboard app.
