I use it with my 16" Mac for live streaming/presenting, traveling under multiple windows at the same time. OBS, Keynote, Zoom, Audio Interface and other resource windows.
It worked so well that it actually added an extra second after the initial purchase. I currently have 3 monitors and an iPad Pro as shown below. I can also now use my iPad to mirror the screen to zoom while my wife is giving a presentation. When giving presentations, I use the whiteboard so I can get live graphics/notes like the live camera from the iPad on the screen.
Good product rating:
* I found it very light and great for travel.
* Holster/Stand: Very light, works well but feels a bit flimsy, only one model to choose from. As another user pointed out, he doesn't think it will last long. Time will prove everything. I deducted a star for that.
* The resolution is slightly better than my Mac's, so there's no need to compromise.
* The colors can't outsmart the Mac, but the results are very good. But what I like most is that it looks more like a matte finish, so you don't get the same glossy finish you get on a Mac.
* The screen saver has a cheap and "plastic" feel to it, but at the same time it's nothing wrong with it. a light.
* Physical dimensions are about the same as a Mac 16 in all directions (H W L)
* No additional power is required from your Mac's USB-C port. It comes with a power adapter (just a regular USBC power adapter) if you need to use an HDMI cable instead or connect it without a powered medium like iPhone or iPad.
One last note: I bought the original 2.5k screen for $100 and found this one, so I sent it back before I got it to work. I got one for twice the price. When I bought a second one a few days later, I really liked it. Excellent value for money in the used 200 price category.
