I've played with many different sized portable monitors over the past year, and this is definitely one of my favourites. Picture quality is good, with enough color for my needs, viewing angles are good, and very bright. Personally, it has a better picture than the screen built into my HP laptop. I also like the frameless 16" because it's the same size as my laptop and fits in my travel bag. I've always liked the 1920 x 1200 16:10 aspect ratio and prefer the 1920 x 1080 over. The panel weight is also reasonable at just 2lbs 8oz including the chassis/stand. It also has speakers, though not great, but about what I'd expect from a screen like this. Another final feature added is the inclusion of 4 standard 75mm VESA mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
Since my laptop doesn't support display via USB-C, I've always used it with an HDMI port and never had a problem with that connection. For power, I tested the included 3A USB charger, and also ran a performance test using the laptop's USB port. The screen draws about 1.3A at 50% brightness and about 2.3A at 100% brightness (these values also increase slightly when the volume is turned up). Essentially, this means that a single standard USB-A port on most computers won't have enough power to power it, but a typical USB-C port should. Even if your laptop doesn't support display via USB-C, you can still use it to turn on the display, which is handy. Some USB-A ports designed for charging can also power it, but this can vary widely. Either way, it works great with the included USB charger. Plus, the monitor only offers one USB-C pass-through data port on the left side, so once you plug it in, you won't lose access to your computer's USB-C port.
A final comment about this panel is that it's also close to perfect width (even with cables attached) and can be mounted on a rack in a 19" rack or attached to the same rack using the rear VESA mount. Basically, this screen is not only great for mobile use, but also for many server rack setups or any other application where space is at a premium (especially with the built-in speakers, which can be tight at times).
After testing many other portable monitors, this one works very well, I really liked it and I think the price is definitely worth it!
