I like how it can be used as a giant screen or two stacked monitors at 2560 x 1440 resolution. On Win11 the built-in screen capture area is great. Bad LG software. So, unless you have a better way to use it on Windows 10, you won't get much relief from it.
A lot of people say it's not good for coding, but I like that for SQL work you can put the queries at the front and the results at the bottom instead of being limited to the 1440 "old" constraints stuffed into the "half" of the screen shown above below. I also love using it for VSCode work, it's nice to keep the terminal in the bottom third/quarter of the screen. Judicious use of newlines and nested code instead of flowing lines makes the "I need UltraWide to write code" discussion pointless. (If you have a solid ultrawide r0x0rs monitor, you shouldn't do this anyway.)
It's also great for two remote desktop sessions. I used to sit on one monitor and watch the kids while in the other remote session I was working on my primary 4K monitor (due to scaling issues with the remote computer I'm working on at 2560x1440, it usually doesn't go up to 4K).
It's not a good idea to create a full screen RDP session - again, most remote sessions don't see the full resolution, so you end up with top and bottom bars instead of left/LAW.
If I had space in my current desktop setup, I might have a second to move to the left of the home screen and keep that screen to the right.
