Review Greenworks ‎SVW24L410 24V Deluxe Brushless Cordless Stick Vacuum

Greenworks Deluxe Brushless (500W) 24V Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, Super Bright, LED Light, 4Ah USB-C Battery and 30-Minute Boost (White)

The product appears to be well built with solid materials. I can confirm this because I dropped the main unit on the tile floor while setting up the dock. I thought it would be the end of his life before he could even see the light. But it survived without cracks or scratches.

The ergonomics are also excellent. My arms do not feel tired after about 30 minutes of vacuuming. When I asked my 9 year old son (who has been using it for a while) what he loves most about this vacuum, his first response was "I love how light it is".

Despite its size and weight, I was impressed with its suction power. It has three modes, each with a different suction power. When I used it for the first time, I tried cleaning the carpet with the floor brush. It was hard to slide back and forth at first. I thought it was a problem with the floor brush. But I soon found that I was using it on the high suction setting and the strength of the suction was making it difficult for me to move back and forth. Once I moved to the lowest setting, the movement was much easier.

The lowest setting seemed good enough to keep dust and grime out of my carpeted room. However, he could not capture all the dirt. Immediately after vacuuming my room once, I vacuumed again and picked up a lot of the dust it failed to pick up on the first pass. After the third lap there was nothing left in the glove compartment.

Of course you can also use the vacuum cleaner on a high level. However, aside from the hard work of moving the vacuum back and forth (which isn't as hard on carpets as it is on rugs, by the way), the battery doesn't last very long. On the low setting, the estimated battery life is 45 minutes after a full charge. 10 minutes on high (18 minutes on average). 10 minutes may not be enough to get your daily cleaning chores done, but if there isn't a lot of dust in your room, the lowest setting may do the trick.

Speaking of the estimated battery life displayed on the back of the device, I found this estimate to be quite accurate and useful. This information will help you decide which setting to use and how much cleaning is required. Once the battery is discharged, it can be easily recharged. Just put everything in the dock.

The docking station is very useful. It can be fixed to the wall at a height sufficient to install a vacuum cleaner without removing the accessories. It can also be connected to the bracket of the charging station provided by the seller (not included). When plugged in, the battery is charged with its standard charger. When in the standard adapter, an LED indicator lets you know if the battery is charged or fully charged. I haven't tested how long it takes to fully charge the battery using a standard charger. However, if 10 minutes of high pressure isn't enough for your daily cleaning tasks and you need to quickly recharge the battery, the docking station also offers you the convenience of a quick charger.

The fast charger is located on the side of the dock. To use it, you have to remove the battery from the main unit and plug it into the quick charge port on the side of the base (I don't understand why the manufacturer couldn't put the quick adapter standard). The benefit of a fast charger (aside from being fast) is that it will tell you how much time it has left to charge (in minutes). The indicator also lets you know if the battery is overheating. The vacuum cleaner can remain in the base while using the quick charger to charge the battery. I believe if you have spare batteries one can stay connected to the device and charge with a standard adapter while the other charges with a fast charger.

The dock also has a shelf for two accessories. My machine came with four attachments (plus a wand and floor brush). I had to find another way to store the other accessories. Comes with a shelf for storing accessories on the extension. But I can't imagine cleaning the house with the utility that came with the extender (I've done this with other vacuums and it's inconvenient). I would like the seller to provide us with a regular wall shelf instead of giving us two shelves to mount on the required shelf.

All accessories are very useful. I wish they had zoomed in with binoculars so they could... reach further! What I really love about these accessories is the mechanism that connects them. It is easy to install and most importantly, easy to remove. The ease of use of this mechanism tells me that this is a well thought out product. My only pet peeve is that I wish the floor brush could be separated from my feet. Currently, every time I want to unplug it, I have to pick everything up and use my other hand to pull out the floor brush.

The reason for this is that while floor mats are very good at picking up dirt and hair, they are not very good at picking up small pieces of paper and plastic. It also didn't seem to do a good job on the edge of the floor. So when you vacuum, reach the flange or find small debris, it will be more convenient if you can quickly separate the base unit from the extension shaft and use the extension shaft to pick up the debris or vacuum and stick the flange. It's a personal unit again. As it is currently designed, the process is somewhat cumbersome.

Since we're talking about collecting small debris, you should know that this is a small vacuum and it doesn't seem designed to gobble up the same volume of debris as a standard vacuum. A common problem seems to be small pieces of paper (say 1 inch square). You can fall into the floor brush. If they do, they will likely get stuck trying to get into the collection box. Fortunately, the main unit has indicators that can let you know if dirt has built up in the floor brush. Both are easy to clean.

The rest of the device is also easy to clean. Emptying the weed catcher is as easy as a few strokes. However, I had to use my fingers to remove the crumbs from the bin (the hairs got tangled around the filter and kept the crumbs from falling out on their own). It seems that cleaning the filter requires a few simple steps.

In general, I am very pleased with the vacuum cleaner. Of course, there is no product at all. When a product overcomes an inconvenience in life, exaggerates a minor inconvenience, or a new product comes out, we hope that the product can overcome it. Undoubtedly, the producer also has it. But fortunately, it removes a lot of the inconveniences and only adds or amplifies a few. Without a doubt, this is one of the best vacuum cleaners I have ever owned.
