Adding a watermark is a great option if you want to protect the photos you post on different websites and apps from theft or unauthorized use, and it's also a simple and easy process since some modern Android phones have a built-in feature that has a watermark added with the date the photo was taken. and device name, but many devices lack this feature. Also, this feature doesn't allow customizing the watermark with multiple shapes and colors, and you can't add it to photos you took before enabling it.
So, in this article, we are going to show you how to create a private watermark and add it to your photos on your Android phone in two different ways:
1- Create a watermark using a third-party app:
There are many photo watermark apps available for Android phone users in Google Store, such as: B: add watermark in photo app, iWatermark app, watermark photo and so on. Most of these apps work the same way.
Below we will show you how to use the Add Watermark On Photo app which has a number of features to create your own watermark and add it to a photo or multiple photos in your album. You can also use it to add a watermark to your videos:
1- Open the app after installing it from Google Play. If it asks for permission to access the camera, grant it access to continue.
2- Click on the “Apply to image” option and choose the image that you want to put a watermark on.
3- You will be shown a pre-made theme for you to use, or you can create your own watermark in the app or use a pre-designed watermark.
4- If you want to create a watermark, then click on the Create Watermark option. You will see different tools to help you design your watermark such as: B: Text Tool, Background Tool, and Effect Tool. When you're done creating your watermark, click the (correct) icon to add the watermark to one or more photos of your choice.
5- Resize the watermark by clicking on the resize icon and dragging it to the appropriate position in the image.
6- Once done, tap on the download button that appears in the top right corner to download the image to your phone's Photos app. They will be saved in a folder called (Add Watermark).
2- Add watermark to photos automatically:
Add watermark to photo and other similar apps help you to watermark photos on your phone. However, there are times when you want photos taken with your phone's camera to be automatically watermarked with your phone's name, your name to indicate what type of phone you used to take the photo, and your name can be watermarked to indicate who took the photo.
In this case you can install another application, for example B .: Shot On Stamp, which is available for Android users for free in the Google Play Store. Once installed, follow the steps below to learn how to use it:
1- Launch the Shot On Stamp app on your phone.
2- Click the Logo button and select your device manufacturer's logo to add it to the watermark.
3- Click the capture button and type your phone's name in the device name field (if you want your phone's name to appear on the photos you take).
4- You can also put your name in the watermark by clicking on the “Photographer” option and writing your name in the “Your Name” field.
5- Go to the "Advanced" section and you can customize the appearance of the watermark as you like by changing the position, font, size and color where you want to add the watermark.
6- Click the preview button that appears as an eye to see how the watermark will look when added to the photo.
7- Go back to the main screen of the application and press the camera button, then take a photo and the "Shot On Stamp" application will put a watermark on it.
The next time you can directly open the camera app on your phone to take a photo, your watermark will automatically appear on the photo.
