The Finder app on Mac computers running macOS Mojave and later includes Quick Actions features that make it easy to quickly edit files without opening the app associated with those actions. Among the default options in the Quick Actions menu is an option that allows you to easily remove the background from any image on your Mac computer, and it is called (Remove Background).
The Remove Background feature removes the main elements of an image and converts it into a PNG file with a transparent background. This feature works best for images that clearly focus on a particular subject, eg B. People, animals, plants, etc., and the background has a more or less uniform color.
1- How to use the remove background feature:
To use the background removal feature on a Mac computer, follow these steps:
- Open the Finder app.
- Select the image from which you want to remove the background.
- Right-click the image in the Finder and click the Quick Actions option until you see a list of actions.
- Click on the Remove Background option.
- Wait for your computer to finish removing the background from the image and you should see a progress bar showing the background removal process.
- After the background removal is complete, a copy of the image will appear containing only the main elements and the transparent background. It appears next to the original image as a PNG file and has a default name that includes the name of the original image. next to the sentence (background removed).

2- How to remove the background using the Photos app:
If your computer is running macOS Ventura, you can remove photo backgrounds another way using the Photos app instead of the Finder app. The methods are as follows:

- Use the cursor to select the main elements of the image.
