How to find lost Pixel Buds Pro

The Pixel Buds Pro are some of the most advanced wireless earphones on the market today, with high-quality sound, noise-canceling technology, and more. When using these or other wireless headphones, we often encounter the problem of losing them, whether it is in public places or at home. So in this article we will explain how to find your lost Pixel Buds Pro so that you can get them back quickly and easily:

1- Set the Pixel Buds Pro to ring:

If you lose your Pixel Buds Pro but are still connected to your device, you can find them by connecting to them. This resonance starts low and gradually increases over time. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app and select Bluetooth. Then click the Settings icon that appears next to the speaker's name.
  2. If you're using a non-Pixel Android phone, open the Pixel Buds app.
  3. Click on the (Scan for devices) option.
  4. You will see Ring Left and Ring Right options. Click both options and both speakers will beep to help you locate.
  5. If you only lose one speaker, tap Left Mute or Right Mute to mute only the lost audio.
  6. Once you've located the earbuds, you can stop the ringing by turning off the earbuds with your phone or by placing them in the charging case and closing the lid.

2- Check the last known location of the Pixel Buds Pro:

Find My Device makes it easy to find your headphones when you're in an unfamiliar place. If you pair your Pixel Buds Pro with an Android device running Android 6.0 or higher and enable Find Devices on your Android device, the Find My Device app will find your headphones. Find My Device is the last place your Android device connected with headphones.

Although the app doesn't show you the exact location of your headphones, it does help you decide where to start, for example: you can see if you've forgotten them at home or at work.

To determine the final location of your speakers:

  1. Open the Settings app and select Bluetooth. Then click the Settings icon that appears next to the speaker's name.
  2. If you're using a non-Pixel Android phone, open the Pixel Buds app.
  3. Click on the (Scan for devices) option.
  4. Click on the Last Known Location option and you will be automatically taken to the Find My Device or Find My Device download page.
  5. You may be asked to sign in to your Google account.
  6. When your device menu appears, tap the Google Pixel Buds Pro option and Google Maps will show the buds' last known location.
  7. Follow Google Maps directions to the speaker's location. Remember that you cannot make the headphones ring with the lid closed, you can follow the instructions without hearing the sound from the headphones.
