Telegram allows users to edit their messages after they have been sent via the Edit Sent Messages feature. This feature is useful for several reasons. How to edit sent messages in the Telegram app
Editing sent messages in Telegram is easy and requires a few simple steps which we explain below:
- Open the Telegram app on your Android phone and go to the conversation containing the message you want to edit.
- Long press on the message you want to edit until the list of options appears at the top of the screen.
- Click the edit icon that looks like a pencil.
- Edit the text of the message and click on the button that appears as a check mark.
If you have an iPhone, follow these steps to edit sent messages in Telegram:
- Open the conversation containing the message you want to edit.
- Long press on the message you want to edit until a list of options appears at the end of the message itself.
- Select Edit from the list of options.
- Edit the text of the message and click on the button that appears as a check mark.
To edit a sent message in the Telegram desktop app; Go to the Telegram network in any web browser on your computer and follow these steps:
- Open the conversation containing the message you want to edit.
- Right-click on the message and choose Edit from the options menu.
- Edit the text of the message and click on the button that appears as a check mark.
