However, on Android, you can control these notifications, as the new feature allows you to prevent apps from displaying notification content in full screen mode and display it in the same format as other notifications instead. This feature is not the main feature in Android 14, but it is a hidden feature that was discovered by technology journalist (Mishaal Rahman).
For example, if you enable this feature for WhatsApp, audio and video call notifications will appear as normal notifications instead of taking up your entire screen and muting everything you see. You can then expand this notification to access the Respond and Decline buttons.
Now this feature is only available in Android 14 Beta. If you are using an Android phone compatible with this system, you can access this feature by following these steps:
- Go to your phone settings.
- Click on the "Applications" option.
- Click on the option (private application access).
