Here's how to get the most out of Google Keep

Google Keep is one of the best note-taking apps for Android users. It comes pre-installed on most Android phones and tablets and is also available for iPhone users on the App Store.

This app has several features that make it easy to take notes, organize to-do lists, and more. Here's how to get the most out of Google Keep with these most important features:

1- Add items to the list using the voice assistant:

It's easy to create and edit lists in Google Keep, but with the Google Assistant, you can use voice commands to add more items to lists or remove existing ones.

How to use the Google Assistant in Google Keep:

  1. Open Google Keep and create a new list.
  2. Say: (Ok Google, open Assistant settings) Open the Google Assistant settings menu.
  3. Click here to view all processor configuration options.
  4. Scroll down and tap Notes & Lists.
  5. Click the button next to Google Keep.
  6. To add a new item to the list, say: (Hey Google, add...then name the item a list...then say the name of the list).
  7. To remove an item from the list, say: (Ok Google, remove...then say the name of the item in the list...then the name of the list).

2- Transfer notes to Google Docs:

If you want to write a quick note in Google Keep and then add more details and edit the text, you can move the note into Google Docs and start editing. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open a new document in the desktop version of Google Docs.
  2. Click the button with the arrow symbol in the lower right corner.
  3. Click the Google Keep icon on the right side of the screen and you will see all the notes you have written in Google Keep.
  4. Click the [...] button next to the note you want to add to the document.
  5. Click the Add to document option.

This method only works on the desktop version of Google Docs, if you want to use the mobile version, follow these steps:

  1. Open any note in the Google Notes app on your phone.
  2. Click on the three dots button that appears in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. Click Copy to Google Docs.

If you don't add a title to your note, it will automatically be saved as Google Keep Document in Google Docs.

3- Create tags for notes in Google Keep:

 Create tags to keep your notes organized and easily accessible in Google Keep. Follow these steps to create a label:

  1. Open any note in Google Keep.
  2. Click on the three dots button that appears in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Click Naming Options.
  4. Click Enter Tag Name to create a new tag.

You can then create multiple tags and organize your notes within them. For quick access, click the three-line button in the upper-right corner of the Keep home page. Then click on the category name to access all associated notes.

4. Install a Chrome extension to quickly add photos or web pages to Google Keep:

  1. You can install the Google Keep extension for Chrome to easily add any web page or image to Google Keep. The methods are as follows:
  2. Open Chrome and install the Google Keep extension.
  3. Right-click anywhere on a specific image or web page.
  4. Click on the Google Keep Chrome extension option.
  5. Select (Save current page to notes) or (Save image to notes).
  6. You can add a note in the popup, then the image or web link will be saved in the note.

5- Copy the text from the image to Google Keep:

You can copy text from an image saved in a note, move it to another location, or edit it. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open a photo saved to Google Keep.
  2. Click on the image and then click on the three dots button in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on the option to enter text from the image.
  4. The app will copy and paste the text below the image where you can edit it or copy and paste it into another app.
