Popular graphic design projects usually require time and effort. Tasks such as discussing project ideas, sharing templates, and approving your designs can be time consuming. But with the right collaboration tools, you can relieve stress and streamline your workflow, and we're going to list the 5 best of those below:
1- InVision Tool:
With InVision, you can create unique designs and collaborate with your editorial team. At every step, your clients and colleagues can see the evolution of your design.
InVision comes with a presentation and tool called LiveShare that allows you to discuss designs with colleagues and get real-time feedback from collaborators. You can integrate your InVision account with Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Figma, and many other design and development software.
InVision is free for individuals and offers subscription plans that include team collaboration for $4 per month and an enterprise subscription plan.
2- Notism tool:
Notism lets you collaborate with your team to create creatives and videos. Collaboration takes place in real time, and each team member receives a unique code that lets you know who is adding design changes at any time.
You can use Notism after subscribing for $20 and 40 cents per month.
3- Figma tool:
Figma is a GUI design and development tool for applications and websites, and provides features that enable team collaboration between teams, where team members can add comments and share links, whether viewed or edited, among other collaborative features.
Figma offers a tool called FigJam that allows you to create whiteboards with your team to enable more collaboration, strategic planning, brainstorming and diagramming during team meetings. Their use requires an additional subscription beyond Figma.
Access to all Figma Tools features requires a monthly subscription of $12 per editor.
4- Prevue tool:
Prevue is a simple collaboration tool that allows you to work with your team on different design projects where you can add elements and they are displayed in a grid so you can easily communicate with your team members. Review and discuss them together as a team. You can also use the built-in Google Analytics tool to track your project's progress, and Prevue also offers the option to password lock your project to keep it safe.
Prevue offers a 7-day free trial, and to continue using it, you can sign up for one of their paid plans, which start at $10 per month.
5- Canvas tool:
Many professional designers and novice designers alike use Canva to create images, post to social media, create videos, and more. With the whiteboard feature, you can easily collaborate with team members by taking notes and sharing ideas on the whiteboard.
Once the design is complete, Canva can also generate a link to the design that you can send to team members, with the option to make the design read-only or editable.
Canva is not a real-time collaboration tool that allows two or more users to work together on a design at the same time, but it does provide special links that allow other team members to edit a design someone has created.
Anyone can use Canva for free, but with limited functionality. If you want the full functionality, you can subscribe to the Canva Pro plan for 12.99 cents per month or the Canva Teams plan for 14.99 cents per month.
