Look for the icon with an (AA) symbol on it, as this usually means you're reading the font settings in the app. For example, you can adjust the font size in the Apple Books app by opening a book, clicking the AA icon in the upper-right corner, and selecting the larger or smaller A icon to adjust the font size. If you look at the bottom of the list, you will also find a list of fonts from which you can choose a font for your eBook.
