I live in a 4 bedroom house for 5 people. We all do a lot of work and/or play at home, and with an unreasonable number of IoT devices around the house, good robust access points are a must. For $75, these are on the table, and then there's more. While the range isn't particularly impressive, I can afford 3 of these for the same price as many WiFi 6 hotspots, which makes them an incredible bargain. We have 3 bedrooms in our house and each has strong wifi coverage including balconies so everyone can get about 200mbps and very strong ping anywhere.
The only thing I regret is that Nebula Portal's interface is not very user friendly. While it offers a lot of great features, the GUI can require a little TLC and can be hard to understand if you don't know what you're doing.
I am seriously considering buying more for my stock. These little things are so cool. If you're hooked, it beats mesh-lined systems.
Attached is a screenshot of a speed test connected to an access point (over a fiber internet connection). Keep in mind that the nearest access point is about 30 feet away and there are four thick walls to cross during testing. They have more expensive access points and are in worse shape.
Bottom line: buy this thing. You might need it, but it's the best cheap WiFi 6 hotspot out there. If you have an Ethernet connection at home or in the office, this is a great solution for getting strong and reliable coverage.
