I purchased this puzzle feeder for my two youngest dogs and puppies in our lives. Although my dog hasn't quite figured out how to trigger more rewards by tapping the center funnel specifically, sometimes he manages to knock out the kiss with his deflected paw. It takes two streams and some encouragement to learn how to lift the plates. They are very stubborn and will not leave the feeding station until every morsel of food has been counted and eaten.
My two big dogs reacted completely differently and looked at her before walking away. They have reached a point in their lives where they no longer feel the need to impress me with their skills or work hard for their own gain.
I don't free feed my dogs, but if you do, you can fill the hopper in the morning and your pup can graze all day.
The feeder is much stronger than I thought it would be and easy to clean. I didn't use suction cups because I usually put them on the carpet.
While I don't think there is anything wrong with the nutraceuticals, Potaroma seems to have a pretty good refund/exchange policy.
