Surface Pro is experiencing problems and becoming unreliable. I can't complain that it has served me well for years, but I needed a solid replacement. Browsing through well-known brands, I came across the OTVOC VocBook 15 with positive reviews and it seems to have everything I look for in a laptop. The only challenge for me is that I had never heard of this brand before. Compared to other laptops in the same price range, the VocBook 15 performs the best.
I took the opportunity to ask a question. It appears after two days. Open the box and you will be surprised at the quality at this price. The installation process went smoothly. Then I walk my laptop through these steps. I've browsed, rebooted, checked camera quality, played a movie, and downloaded programs of interest. I ended up installing a second drive that I had with me and formatting it after watching a YouTube video...the actual process was much easier.
In general, I am smiling about my purchase, I am happy and satisfied. While the VocBook 15 isn't the latest or greatest laptop, it has decent speed, a quality camera, a good picture on the screen, plenty of storage space, and good looks, but for me it's the best. My only complaint is that the power cord is a bit short. I can't say anything about durability and long term reliability. I'll tell you in two years.
